All evening long, at first I thought it was like a barbecue grill. But the longer I smell it, the more it reminds me of camp because it is a firewoody smell. I wonder what it is.
We have a wood buring fireplace in our family room. I sit in there in the morning when I am drinking my tea, and eating breakfast. Sometimes I think a small breeze comes down the chimney and the smell of burnt wood comes at me.
For a long time, I didn't know where the smell was coming from and spent time looking all over the house for something on fire...now I know and I actually kind of like the smell. Reminds me of camping.
